Apartment Marina

Marina is an EXCEPTIONAL HOST! She is kind and extremely helpful. She not only met us in person, she stayed available at all times during our stay which is so amazing. She even called our Boat company as we were running a few minutes behind and she made them wait for us. When it came to register our stay with the City Tourism office, she eevn sent 2 euros with her husband for us to file and we had to insist that they take dollars in return and we had to push them. They are very very kind people. She even provided us with a dedicated parking spot. The apartment is IMMACULATE. While its perfect for two, its got everything you may need. Additionally the location is exceptional with a 2 min walk to old town and to two major grocery stores. Marina even guided us on where to shop to save money. a HUGE THANKS to Marina! The whole experience was exceptioal as she made sure we take a good impresion of her country! How amazing is that!!! If we are ever in Kotor, that is the ONLY place we will stay at. As a hidden bonus is a charming private patio / terrace to sit and enjoy some personal time. Very very nice. Bathroom is WONDERFUL!!! Once again.... the place was extremely clean and looked brand new! Hosts paid attention to little things such as welcome candies, and house slippers.

The surrounding place seem run down and at 1st glance it may look unsafe but we felt very comfortable. The home in front of the parkng had several men siting outside which gave the impression of a run down area but they were just socializing. Please remember that the host collects the payment in CASH ONLY. so carry your payment in cash (Euros). We did not know but once again Marina was very helpful and accepted dollars from us! While this section in for what we did not like, there is nothing that we can mention.

The property was beautiful and well thought out in its layout and thought to detail. The host was lovely and helped us check in early and keep parking spot late. The location was exceptional with a short cut to the old town and amenities.

Marina and her family were amazing hosts—so kind and thoughtful, providing lots of useful information. The flat is clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk to the supermarket and old town. I highly recommend it 100%!
