Would have been nice to have a sink in kitchenette area of the pod; though full kitchen facilities available in main house, otherwise all was great .

De meid die er de hele dag aanwezig was voor schoonmaak en algemene hulp was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Schimmel in de hoeken van het plafond van de badkamer, douchevloer niet schoon, douche deur bleef niet staan en rolde elke keer terug, behang los laat van de muur in de badkamer, douchewanden die beplakt zijn met soort plastic beplating in plaats van normaal tegelwerk, zwembad met troebel water in plaats van helder water, ligbedden bij het zwembad waarvan de rugsteun niet (altijd) meer goed was, scheuren in de kussens van de ligbedden, plinten van het vlonder bij het zwembad lagen los. Al met al heel veel slordigheden die je niet vewacht van een slaapplek waar je meer dan €100 per nacht voor betaalt, zeker in (Zuid)Afrika. Ik zou dit verblijf dus ook niet aanraden ivm prijs/kwaliteit. Voor een overnachting van deze prijs moet het écht beter, zelfs in Camps Bay.

Where do I start other then DO NOT STAY HERE. If it was advertised as a youth hostel, then ok, but its says 4 star accommodation and charges accordingly. I cannot stress enough how bad it is. Things got off to a bad start when we came in at 4.45pm and the room wasnt anywhere near ready, then a fellow guest said "dont worry, i know it looks terrible but you get used to it". I have posted pictures on this forum to show the dirty sheets, hairs in the sink, mouldly curtains with handprints on them and the paint peeling off the walls. Worse then the condition of the property was the owners response to my complaint who insisted on only communicating via Whatsapp messages. Refused to answer, refused any partial compensation and then just didnt reply. So i am over 700GBP out of pocket on top of cost of the alternative accommodation .

Formal Complaint and Request for Full Refund – Misrepresentation of Accommodation Good day, I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the accommodation I booked. Upon arrival, I found that the property was not in an acceptable condition and did not match the description advertised online. The unit was not clean, there was no door on the toilet, ear buds were found lying in the pot plants, and empty plastic bottles were scattered around the premises. This clearly indicates that the property had not been properly cleaned or prepared for guests. In addition, the listing advertised the accommodation as a “villa.” However, the structure on the property is in fact a tent, which is a clear misrepresentation of what was advertised. Due to the unacceptable condition of the premises and the misleading description of the accommodation, I was unable to stay at the property and checked out immediately after arrival. As the accommodation was misrepresented and not in a suitable condition for occupation, I request a full refund of the amount paid. I trust this matter can be resolved promptly.
