What a lovely welcome from friendly hosts Richard and Rachel ! Great selection of breakfast to choose from , a great warm and well decorated home , super bedroom and having bathroom right next door was not a problem ! Would most definitely stay there again if in thd area ! Beautiful views when the weather is good

a very nice choice, and lovely and fresh

The property is even more beautiful than on the pictures. We had such a wonderful time there with the lovely hosts and their cute dogs. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The warm and friendly atmosphere made it a perfect and unforgettable stay.

Our hosts were very friendly and we received a warm welcome. Communication before our stay was excellent and Richard provided us with loads of information and showed us around the kitchen and what we should do for breakfast. He lent us a kettle for our room. The Wi-Fi was good as was the TV; it's unusual to be able to access BBC iPlayer and that was great. Fresh croissants were provided in the morning plus a selection of thigs to choose from in the kitchen cupboards and fridge. The bed was large and very comfortable. Overall very good.

The bathroom was next door to our room but exclusive for our use. It was quite small and we prefer to have an ensuite.

The views were gorgeous, the hosts were kind and friendly and at the same time were not intrusive. The entire house smelled nice, the beds were very comfortable. Richard and Rachel left some fruits and tit bits to eat in the fridge and they baked fresh croissants every morning. Overall it felt very homely and I didn't feel like leaving. The drive to the location was very nice as well

Everything was perfect. Its great if you are looking for some quiet, as a location is a little far away from the main town. It should be ok, if you have a car.

The accommodation Efail Y Garn exceeded all our expectations! It is such a beautiful house with an amazing, large garden where you can relax and have beautiful views across the rural environment. Our room and bath were just perfect, very cozy and beautifully equipped, just awesome! We really enjoyed chatting with Rachel and Richard and the other guests during the great breakfast or evening cooking in the kitchen, or in the living rooms, or garden, and play with the two very friendly small dogs; it really felt like family! Thank you also for the delicious leftovers from the barbecue :-) The location is perfectly positioned to reach, by 30 to 40min car drive, the Gower peninsula, the Brecon beacons national resort, Swansea or Cardiff, or even locations in Pembrokeshire. But it is also possible to just start walking from the house and do a hike into the fields in order to watch the browsing sheeps, very peaceful and relaxing! Thank you so much, Rachel and Richard, for your cordial hospitality! We hope we will be able to come back some time in the future!

Nothing to complain, all was just perfect.

Richard and Rachel had gone to great lengths to provide all the possible ingredients for a breakfast on a par with 5 star hotels. They even let you use the kitchen at other times of the day to make lunch or an evening meal. They obviously genuinely love people and make everyone feel so welcome. On one cooler evening they went to the trouble of lighting a fire in the cosy living room just so we could curl up with a good book on their comfy sofas (and stroke Ivy - one of their affectionate dogs!). It was a joy to spend 3 days in this lovely corner of Wales. I only wished I'd booked to stay longer!

Can't find anything to criticise !

Zu Gast sein bei Rachel und Richard ist aussergewöhnlich gut. Nicht nur dass, die Räumlichkeiten reichlich und gut sind, sondern die Gastgeber tun alles, damit man sich im Hause wohl fühlen kann. Frühstück ist auf SB-Basis, dafür kann man Zeitlich komplett flexibel. Die Küche steht jederzeit frei zur Verfügung.

Beautiful spot and the house with lovely garden, where you can sit and relax. We were welcomed from Rachel&Richard so warmly and friendly. We had a feeling like visiting an old friends or family. Even their two dogs are so nice and friendly! The comfortable big bedroom with bathroom with a lovely view. And stylish living room for use as well. Cosy kitchen, great selection of food and drinks for breakfast.Thanks so much !
