Wheelwright's Rest, Legbourne, Louth

Every thing you want was there. Great thought has been given to the layout and requirements. The property was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. A credit to the owner.

The property was toasty warm when we arrived on a cold damp evening, a lovely welcome basket was there to greet us too. The TVs, appliances, fixtures and fittings are all high spec, lovely comfortable bed too with good quality bedding. We really appreciated the attention to detail that the owner had put in to ensure guests enjoyed their stay. We try to get down to Lincolnshire each November to see the seals at Donna Nook (3516 on 21st November - 1499 of which were pups) always a magic experience to see the seals at this breeding time up close without feeling you are intruding. It's also nice to visit Louth, Lincoln and Alford while down in the area.

Clean, quiet and restful, my only recommendation to do with the TV, it is a very good TV excellent size with loads of channels but we missed not having Freeview or at least we could not find it.

Beautifully presented and cosy. Location was great for visiting some lovely places in Lincolnshire. Off road parking and Karen was fabulous and gave us a welcome pack and put milk and butter in the fridge. Bed was super comfy and a tv in the bedroom was a luxury for us! We would come back and recommend for anyone wanting to see Mablethorpe, Lincoln and Louth. Pub was a 20 min walk down a lane but we managed to find it in the dark. The other pub in the village was fully booked for dinner when we arrived.

Modern, clean and well thought out accommodation. Friendly owners and we especially liked the welcome pack(plum bread, butter, jam, crisps etc) -delicious!

Beautiful quiet cozy little space. Perfect for a relaxing stay. Very clean and tidy. Lovely little selection of local food to try as well. Everything was perfect.
