Ivy Cottage,

Ivy cottage is located at the end of a row of terraced houses, just off the main road in Lostwithiel, it is very well furnished and has everything to make your stay comfortable.

Due to it's location parking is impossible outside the property, but you can park on the local pub car park nearby. The complimentary cream tea offered is a bit of a hollow gesture as it must be prebooked between 12 and 3, a time when most tourists would be out exploring or on the beach, We had to use the outside toilet as the one in the bathroom wouldn't flush, it was OK as long as you like spiders and the odd slow worm!

The cottage was cosy and warm and has been well cared for. The bed was fabulous and the bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch. The included cream tea from the Royal Oak was very kindly switched for takeaway chocolate fudge cake. We'll definitely be looking to return.

everything about it! we had the most comfortable stay, dog friendly and honestly amazing all round.

The bedroom and the bathroom and the lounge was comfortable

There was dog hair in the bedroom and lounge room (we did not have a dog) The kitchen utensil drawer was dirty, we had to clean it before we wanted to use it. Also the seal around the fridge has mould on it, we didn’t clean that

Exceptionally clean and well provided Lovely comfortable bed and very cosy cottage

The brown settee made the lounge feel dowdy ,but it’s not a big deal as everything else was wonderful
