Check-In was a bit complicate

Розташування даного помешкання чудове, в пішій доступності від центру міста. Великою перевагою є наявність ванної. Також всередині є потужний кондиціонер. Враховуючи, що приміщення - мансарда, і нагрівається протягом дня - кондиціонер швидко охолоджує кімнату.

Так як це мансарда, вікна у нас виходили на захід - в другій половині дня сильно нагрівалась кімната. Дуже погана зовнішня шумоізоляція, вночі чути всі машини та перегони мотоциклів. Сам стиль помешкання наче залишився в 90-х: пошарпані меблі, вся підлога у ковроліні з плямами. Знайшли під ліжком бонус - мишоловку, дякую що порожню. Мишей не бачили, але наявність мишоловки змушує бути готовим.

The location is very central. The bed linen was clean. No noise from the casino (although some from the outside). Enough sockets reasonably placed.

As a young-ish female solo traveller, I was uncomfortable. A casino I may have dealt with, but the ads RE "a private space without witnesses" really made me uneasy about whom I may come across in communal areas of the building. As to the room itself... what a cleaning employee would clean was clean. The rest was... Grimy. Dirt on the light switches. Areas of the rug bleached (I think? They were a very different colour). A settee with stains of unclear origin. I touched the least I could. I guess the windows could be opened, but it wasn't clear how (and I couldn't reach them if I wanted to). Coming in from the outside the room was a bit too hot, but survivable. Still, I would have wanted to change the air, sometimes. Also, glasses didn't dampen the noises from outside, and there was some (mostly roading cars). No indication on how to log onto wi-fi. I even wrote them to ask more info. Radio silence. We'll come back to this. Water pressure practically absent. Not a trickle, but not much more. Not much use to advertise a bathtub, if it can't be used. Towels were of a weird ...velvety? consistency. Used my own. The door has a simple key closing. Two turns, no locks, no card, no nothing. The location was indeed very central, but two of the three routes I took to get there went through very rundown, possibly unsafe areas. Lastly, I received an answer exactly ONCE from the owners/handlers (even though I wrote to them more than a month earlier, at booking time), which is when they wrote to me about how to check in, a couple days before I was meant to. I spoke to no one (entrance has a desk, but I've never seen anyone behind it), had to resort to speaking to the casino staff who reassured me all was well. Key and card were in a lockbox, and its combination was already inserted, which only added to my feelings of uneasiness.

Well located and quite some space. Bed was good, so OK for a short trip.

Self Check-In was not possible, the room card was not in the box and I need to call the owner. Same happens to another guest 10 min later, so no single event. Rooms are extremely old, long time without maintenance. Many little things which could be easily done (draining of bathtub, flaking off shower handle, falling apart toilet flushing ...) and also major issues (general carpet and furniture condition, sun shields of windows were not really working, noisy AC could not be set/turned off: controls not working, one window was not working/opening mechanism was broken)
