The Bell Inn

A lovely little room overlooking mature trees and with two windows that open. Low ceilings which may impact a taller guest. Lovely bedding and towels.

The mattress on my side of the bed (left hand) was completely broken down and I had to jam a cushion under it to stop me rolling out of bed!

It is characterful and a very pleasant environment. Great location. Nice to have biscuits etc in the room and a clean kettle.

There are not enough electric points in the rooms. My friend didn’t have enough in the family room either. We needed to charge our watches, phones, and cameras and use a hairdryer etc. This could easily be remedied by supply extension leads with a couple of sockets.

Location was very good - very close to the River Blyth which had a welcoming pub on the opposite bank to Walberswick. Breakfast at the Bell was good as was the eveing meal I paid for . The bedroom was comfortable.

Room was a little hot.
