The location in Bandra West/Khar is excellent — a lively neighborhood with convenient proximity to the main city. It connects South Mumbai to the center and other parts seamlessly, making it the perfect base for exploring everything Mumbai has to offer. Hammock Hostels is also just 3 minutes away from Carter Road, one of the city’s most vibrant promenades. Plus, there are awesome food joints nearby such as Tibbs Frankie, Tim Hortons, Carter Social, The French Press, and La Pinoz Pizzeria, giving guests plenty of delicious options right around the corner. On the practical side, the Wi‑Fi has a strong, reliable connection and the air conditioning is superb, ensuring comfort whether you’re working online or simply unwinding after a hot day in the city. Other impressive facilities include a well‑equipped kitchen with refrigerator and necessary utensils, which makes it easy to prepare your own meals if you prefer. Overall, Hammock Hostels Mumbai is a very good hostel in Mumbai which I would recommend to everyone. I left with wonderful memories, new friends, and a strong desire to return. I will say best Hostel based on location. Carter road and many tourist locations are nearby in just walking distance. Being a working professional i like to work in peace. This hostel deliver you peace of mind and positive environment to stay.

Staying at HammockHostels was honestly one of the warmest hostel experiences I’ve had. The staff, especially Arjun, was extremely friendly and welcoming. What I loved most was that he treated every guest with the same kindness and patience, making everyone feel comfortable and at home. Being a Malayali myself, I felt even more at ease talking with him 😊 The atmosphere of the hostel was very peaceful and calm, something I didn’t expect in a busy place like Bandra. Considering the price and the location, the facilities they provide are truly commendable. I genuinely don’t think you can find such a comfortable and well-maintained hostel this easily in areas like Bandra or Khar at this rate. Even though I chose a mixed dorm, I never faced any discomfort. All the hostel mates were decent, pleasant, respectful, and cooperative. I also really liked the common spaces — especially the area near the kitchen where people can chill or smoke, and the little library corner which gave such a cozy vibe 📚 Overall, the place felt very warm and welcoming, and even my cousins enjoyed their stay a lot. Definitely recommended for travellers looking for a peaceful and friendly stay in Mumbai ❤️its safe for solo woman travellers as well.
