The water heater not working well.
GBLocation is perfect. Free parking.
Looks worn and tired. Feels very unloved and seems like it is just a revenue stream to the owner rather than creating an exceptional experience for guests. The sofa is only a 2 seater and the cover which keeps slipping down is meant to hide the worn leather. Other guests have to use the dining chairs to sit on and they have become loose/wobbly. The toilet seat is cracked. Curtains have now gone but broken/missing fixings remain above windows. All windows have a dark mould/mildew rim around them. There are other finer apartments in this block to rent at similar prices so will try those next year.
GBLocation was great , very central to shops and restaurants.

Seating area dated and uncomfortable
GBCardiff city apartment 2 is in a phenomenal location. Just a few minutes walk from the central station and a couple hundred meters away from the Arena and St David centre. It’s pretty spacious, the bathrooms were excellent, it felt like a borderline boutique hotel but had homely touches like milk and cereal for breakfast, hot drinks and biscuits.
There were four of us and the sofa seated three, we brought over a dining chair easily enough, but a comfy chair or second sofa/ sofa bed would be amazing. It’s a stretch to say it ruined our experience in any way though, lol.
GBIt was so close to the centre, literally across the road from John Lewis. It was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host communicated well and check in was smooth and straightforward. There were some lovely touches that made you feel welcome, fresh milk, tea, coffee, breakfast cereal all provided.

GBPerfect location as it was a Christmas shopping break. Had everything we needed in the apartment with plenty of space. Highly recommend but shhhh don't tell everyone , we want to be able to book another stay in 2026.
