Mold, bad smell, gas leak, bathroom

The location

Difficult to park, gas leak in the kitchen , bathroom not function properly due to loosen tiles, nice window facing the street that we could not open .

Location is very central. Apartment is spacious. Kitchen equipped.

Expected more cleanliness. Sofa all scratched. No TV remote . So TV not able to use. Few towels not enough for the stay.

I didn't like anything

The beds were not comfortable and 2 of us had to sleep on the sofabed with our feet out, flooding shower and the water going everywhere int the corridor that was dangerous for my kids, malfunctioning toilet, and many cockroach in the bathroom!! We had to leave the flat and the owner fooled us into giving us a refund....we are very disappointed

the location of the apartment was within walking distance to piazza del duomo as well as via etnea. There are many restaurants to visit in the area as well. The apartment was really clean and spacious. The host communicated with us regularly during the trip and also before the trip.

When showering the water kept coming out of the shower into the bathroom as floor was not levelled correctly. Some tiles in the bathroom where wobbly.

The owner is very helpful, efficient and nice.

It is close to central area and affordable

The location was great, it's right in the city center, everything is really close to the hotel. The kitchen was ok but be careful with the gas because you have to open the galon with it and then close it once you've finished cooking otherwise you'll smell it everywhere. The rooms are quite big, and the beds were comfortable.

The smell was awful, because there were no windows. The windows are present, but you cannot really open them (shutter). Moisture is all over the apartment, as ventilation is really bad (don't forget about the lack of possibility to leave windows open for some time). Bathroom has a lot of mold everywhere. Again because lack of ventelation. If you take a shower (obviously you'll need it) - water will be everywhere and you cannot do absolutely nothing about it, water flows even to the room. One more thing about windows - outside there is a restaurant. Windows of the apartments look directly to the backyard of the restaurant so you hear all of the noise, scent, see the staff etc. These shutters you have on the windows can be opened but then anyone from the backyard can come to the apartment.
