Sonesta Inns Beach Resort - Candolim Beach

Proximity to the beach.

Its by no way a 4-star property. This resort doesnt even have the basic housekeeping items like a hair conditioner. The hair dryer looked very old and i was scared to use it. The rooms were old and didnt really have the look and feel of a 4-star property. They didnt have their own spa or salon. Very bare bone property that should at best be 2-2.5 star.

Aivan ihana henkilökunta, ystävällisiä, avuliaita, iloisia. Paikat pidettiin siisteinä, niin ulkona kuin huoneissa sisälläkin. Ranta muutaman kymmenen metrin päässä. Altaalla tuotiin aina pyyhkeet aurinkotuoleille, eikä kukaan voinut pitää niitä vain varattuina koko päivää. Koska, jos tuolit tyhjinä jonkun aikaa, työntekijä haki käytetyt pyyhkeet pois. Rannalla ei tarvitse maksaa aurinkotuoleista. Tarjoilu pelasi molemmissa paikoissa. Vaihdoimme huoneita pariin kertaan, ensimmäisessä huoneessa vessa ei toiminut kunnolla. Pääsimme siirtymään isompaan. Sieltäkin vielä siirryimme sviittiin, syytä emme oikein ymmärtäneet. Tämä pyyntö tuli hotellin johtajalta. Olimme siellä n 2,5 viikkoa yhteensä. Ei tuottanut meille ongelmaa. Myös ensimmäinen huone oli riittävän iso kahdelle. Henkilökuntaa oli tosi paljon, nurmikon hoitajat, siivoojat, ravintola henkilökuntaa. Ulkoalueet tosi siistissä kunnossa ja niitä hoidettiin joka päivä.

Hotelli jo iäkäs ja näkyy rakenteissa. Pintaremonttia voisi tehdä moneenkiin kohtaan. Ei vaikuta olemiseen ja majoittumiseen. Vain ilmeen kohennusta. Pistorasioita ei juurikaan ylimääräisiä. Sängyn vieressä vain yksi molemmin puolin, jotka yölamput sitten veivät. Myös erittäin väljät, ei meinaa töpseli pysyä rasiassa. Kylpyhuoneessa ei yhtään pistorasiaa. Aamupala tällä hetkellä suurimmaksi osaksi paikallisten syöminkejä. Toivoisin otettavan huomioon myös eurooppalaisten toiveet. Tuoreet vihannekset ja leikkeleet ja juustot puuttuvat kokonaan

Poor cleaning of rooms , dirty bathrooms, threadbare towels. Room service does not clear dirty dishes for two days - and then there are cats and crows spreading the leftover food all over. Room furniture in the superior room in decay. Cigarette holes in the sofa. Shower mixer faulty. I went for the free breakfast on the first day and skipped for the next 3 days - terrible quality and selection and completely avoidable. Pool - large groups of men fully clothed entering the pool ( not swimwear ) and in general large groups of men all over the hotel. A lot of noise by large groups sitting by the pool at 11 pm/ 12 am. This is not the Sonesta I once used to stay in. At over Rs.10,000 a night plenty of far better options available in Goa.

It's just an amazing place..got a awesome Deal ..everything about the place is a wow ..thanks to Chandu for outstanding service ..will surely visit again
