Luxury 3 King Bed Apartment Quayside

First of all had to pick the key up from a lock box 5mins away. Then we Turned up and the property which was filthy and dirty, dirty cups and bedding. Clearly hadn’t been cleaned.

Really good value for money, 3 bedrooms and sofa beds as well. The beds were really comfortable, and overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

The key wasn't in the lock box on arrival, and it was more awkward than it should've been to get the key. There were anti pest bombs in both upstairs bedrooms still lit, which stank the place out with smoke. Also the bedroom window didn't open which made staying in that room not possible.

This place is advertised as a luxury apartment and is nowhere near an acceptable standard. Mouldy bathrooms, fixtures falling apart and mattresses an appalling state. We were advised to collect the key from a lock box about half a mile away at 3pm when we could check in. We did, and on arrival at the apartment were greeted by a cleaner who said he had arrived to clean the property as it hasn’t been done yet. This was unacceptable for a start and we were not contacted either to say the property wasn’t ready. We booked the apartment as we were heading to an event at the arena that evening so wanted to get in, get changed and head out. The cleaners let us in to the apartment (which was filthy and smelt bad) so we could get ready and told us they would wait outside until we were finished. When we headed out they asked for the key back, and told us we would need to collect it again from the lock box half a mile away when we returned. This was not feasible as we wouldn’t be returning until past midnight. When we told them this they offered to leave the apartment unlocked - absolutley ridiculous when all of our belongings were inside and the apartment isn’t in the best of areas either. Eventually they agreed to let us keep the keys and said they’d source a replacement from the landlord. When we arrived back the apartment had been cleaned, but the state of the place in general is beyond a quick clean. The bathrooms were full of mould, the shower heads cracked and barely working, the mattresses stained with no protectors on and the bedroom windows locked shut with no ventilation and blinds broken. There were barely any mugs in the kitchen, the kitchen chairs broken and floor tiles missing from the floor. Don’t stay here find somewhere else, the pictures are misleading. As a result we left at 6am the next day as we didn’t want to be there any longer.

Location is great for the stadium and blue line. Price was very good for the number of rooms. The place was clean and comfortable.

These are mostly minor issues given that the apartment was cheap, but some are easy to address: (1) missing floorboard in kitchen (2) only 3 mugs (3) no teatowels, bathmats - bathmat is a safety issue as floors very slippery when wet. (4) hob works but was impossible to tell whether on or off - safety concern (5) no lights by bed - had to get up to turn off light (6) bit of a hike to pick up and drop off keys (7) no instructions or info about the area (8) would be nice to have sugar, milk and teabags - or at least sugar! (9) Chairs are on their last legs

Spacious

Had to collect the key from a different property on arrival and take it back there when we checked out-this wasn’t shared until after payment. Property was tired, beds well used and mattresses uncomfortable. Upstairs en-suite shower and sink didn’t drain. Shower curtain mouldy and off putting. Parking was difficult. Very Over priced due to condition and location.

It was a nice layout and modern decorating with all facilities needed. Wifi was easy to work, television had all the channels needed to chill
