"Beautiful location"

It was nice and quiet, it had a beautiful view and a nice location. Hot tub was amazing and the size of the Lodge was perfect. Was mostly very clean and well maintained.

Only problem we had was that the bed we slept in had dog hairs and a bit of blood on the sheets. Also there was alot of bedding and pillows in our walk in wardrobe so we actually couldn't put our stuff away

"Lovely and peaceful and beautiful lodges"

Been many times so know what to expect.

The property is for sale but there is a lot of things that would need sorting The cupboards at the side of the oven have all peeled from the heat which would put you off paying the price they are asking.

"July retreat"

Loved the lodge and the area. Grimston Bar park and ride to York only a short drive away and great value . The on-site restaurant was outstanding -food was fabulous and staff were really helpful. Sunday lunch was exceptional! The site was so peaceful and close to York- beautiful view of a lake from the lodge which was so relaxing. Lodge also had a screen which provided great privacy when using the hot tub and the lodge was fabulous- clean, well presented and in a great location. Could not have asked for better. Pocklington was also a lovely place to visit with good local amenities. We went to the food festival which was lovely and ate at The Feathers Hotel in Pocklington. Highly recommend. It was lovely and great value for money. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend. Will stay again.

Only one small fault was that TV was slow to pick up reception.

"Fabulous!"

Location was really good a couple of miles away from the pretty town of Pocklington the lodge was lovely overlooking a lake fabulous place to stay
