We made a request for an earlier check in which was agreed by the host which we were very grateful for and were met promptly at the agreed time and were given the necessary information about the apartment. The apartment is very clean and spacious and very well equipped with 2 great balconies offering different views across Olbia. Just a little way across the road is a great cafe which offers fabulous food and pastries called Cafe Gigi - it’s well worth a visit and will set you up for the day. Everyone was super friendly and the Sardinia coastline is stunning. I can’t recommend enough

The entrance is a bit off putting but that is because there is some works being done.

"Poor communication and lack of hospitality"

We experienced a whole series of issues with this accommodation from the very first moment to the last. Right after making the reservation, we informed the host that our arrival would be between 10–11 PM. Since we were arriving by plane, we couldn’t predict the exact time. When we finally reached the property—which was quite difficult to find—I checked my messages and saw that they had informed us via Booking that someone would bring the keys around 11 PM. We arrived at 10:20 PM and had to wait more than 45 minutes outside for the person with the keys. We asked him about check-out, and he told us we could leave at 10:30 AM or even later if we wanted, and that we could just leave the keys on the table. However, on the morning of our departure, I received a message saying we had to leave according to Booking rules, meaning by 10 AM. We left the apartment 10 minutes before 10, only to receive another message telling us to wait until 10 AM because someone was coming. When we booked the apartment, we were told that parking costs €15 per day, even though the Booking website stated €10. Throughout our stay, the information we received was inconsistent and unclear. We travel a lot and have never experienced such a poorly managed check-in and check-out. We would have expected at least an apology from the host, or perhaps some flexibility with the departure time, especially considering the apartment was not occupied afterward and we, as guests with children, had to wait 45 minutes upon arrival. The apartment itself is well-equipped, but there is too much clutter and kitsch. Some items are worn out (a picture in the bedroom is falling off the wall, the key hanger is loose, a kitchen drawer keeps opening due to a sagging cabinet, and the cleaning cupboard is falling apart). One of the bedrooms is located right next to the elevator, and you can hear it running throughout the night. Due to the lack of hospitality from the host, we would never return to this apartment.

Allt med detta boendet var tipp topp. Uthyraren var fantastiskt och vi fick tillgång till en trygg parkering för vår bil. Vi är helnöjda och kan starkt rekommendera detta boende. Mattias med familj

Fabulous apartment in a great location. Easy to walk to everything. Spacious and well equipped. Spotlessly clean and lovely furnishings. Would definitely return if ever in Olbia again. Excellent host who was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to messages.

Beautifully clean, spacious and with fantastic views over Olbia from every window. Group of 6 adults and each double bedroom was large and comfortable. Central location within easy walking distance of main streets, shops and restaurants.

"Poor stay, poor host, sad apartment."

The property was in a good location

The entrance reminded me of something from the Soviet Union, it was dilapidated and unwelcoming. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lady (not the owner) who did not speak a work of English, one of our group had some basic Italian so we managed. We noticed soon after arrival that one of the rooms didn’t have air conditioning. While sitting on the balcony, one of the chairs completely snapped, collapsing with my friend on it, injuring her in the process. I contacted the owner about both of these issues. The solution was that we had to wait in the apartment until 8pm for someone to come with a new chair and a fan (not an AC unit) for the room without AC. This delayed our first evening having to work to the owner’s schedule for These issues to be fixed. Two of the rooms did have AC, neither of which functioned correctly, in one room, despite the AC being set to 21C, the room was still very warm. In my room, the AC blasted out freezing cold air regardless of the temperature it was set to and if switched off made a constant nose as if there was a bird nesting inside and when switched on a big burst of dust flew out. The dust and the freezing AC has made me very ill and have now had a cough still over a week after leaving. The apartment itself has been furnished to a very poor condition. An example of this is a shelf in the shower hanging off the wall and a coat hook behind the door in the same condition. When I made the booking, I made it clear that I would request a late check out, as our flight was at 21:20. The exact words used were “this is not a problem for us”. When we came to arrange this while in the apartment, we were told the latest that could be arranged was 12 midday which is completely different to what we were told originally. Upon check out, a young man arrived who had very limited English, again a very poor experience and the owner did not signify us with her presence at any point during our stay.
