The place was amazing—just a few minutes outside the tourist town—with a stunning view exactly as shown in the listing! What truly made it special was the owner's hospitality and kindness. He was always available to offer support and information. It was a great pleasure staying there. Coming from Europe, I can say the quality of service was of a very high standard, with a warm, human touch that really enhanced the experience. Ps. The breakfast is fantastic!!!!

We loved it! + We loved our stay here! The people that work there are are so sweet and make sure you have everything you need Super nice breakfast. It‘s clean and the rooms come with a nice mountain view.

We had an incredible time in Tea Pick View Ella. The room was simple, but cozy and clean. The owners were very helpful (they gave us a lot of advices what to see in the vicinity of the hotel and how to reach the next destination of our trip).

I honestly can't understand where all these positive reviews come from - the room we stayed at was just awful, anything like what you can see here on booking. First af all, it was just dirty- the floor hadn't been properly cleaned, the bedsheet looked like if it hadn't been changed after the previous guests and there was no top sheet - just a blanket to sleep under (which obviously doesn't get changed after each booking). When we asked for another sheet, what we received was torn in many places and full of stains. The view was far from what we expected, too ( I have to admit though that the other two rooms do have a lovely view from the terrace). This wasn't the worst part though- what was worst was the lack of ventilation. We stayed there during a period of heavy rains and the room and everything in it just smelled really badly. I suppose the reason for this is that part of the buidling (including the room we stayed at) is located under the ground as it's built on a steep slope... Last but not least, the owner charged us an extra fee when checking out (it was 'booking commission') which did not appear anywhere on our booking confirmation and it made this stay the most expensive one of all places that we stayed at in Sri Lanka... and the most disappointing one, too. I really wish I could leave a more positive review as the owners seemed very friendly, but a nice simple is simply not enough to make up for the poor standard and high price which this place offers. On a final note, bear in mind that there is a 'tuktuk mafia' in Ella- uber and the likes do not work, and each ride to the town centre will cost you 1000 rupees.

Great value for money! The staff are super friendly and even help arrange travel facilities at reasonable prices. Plus, they provide an awesome travel guide!
