I know you can't predict the weather and it was absolutely awful but as soon as my mum got there she couldn't open the door to get the key because the lock was so old when they finally got in the place stunk of damp and the carpets are worn and dirty which is down to the owner of the actual property not the owner of the flat which was really clean itself...she then had to climb 7 flights of stairs and as a 70 Yr old it was a bit much there was a lift but it didn't work, and when they got into the apartment it was freezing cold because the heating was just plug in heaters and an immersion heater so they didn't have hot water and they ended up going home on the sat which is very disappointing as it was a present for there 25th wedding anniversary.

Great location in the town and amazing views. The host was great and communication was super easy.

A few kitchen basics are always appreciated in self-catering places. It's totally bare so bring your own salt, pepper, oil etc.

Location and facilities

A bit confusing on arrival - it might be easier if instructions for water heater, internet etc (and what should be plugged in) were sent by email. They were provided but not immediately obvious

Spacious, well equipped top floor flat.

Nothing really - served us well as a base to explore Buxton.

Great decor within, clean and very well priced

Hallway a bit tired but this is noted when you read about the property and out of owners control
