APPLECROFT - Escape to the Peak District National Park

Wonderful location for walks straight out into nature. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to help us.

Beds are possibly just regular size, but felt a little on the small side.

Grand stay! Can't fault the little house.

The thermostat was locked to a certain setting and we wished it was a little warmer, but by no means was it cold.

Beautiful, clean property with a great layout; two bathrooms and a downstairs toilet is ideal for families and small groups. Very well equipped kitchen/diner, supplied with a few basic condiments to get you started. Lovely enclosed back garden for our small dog and the patio will be great when fully finished as quality slabs/stone are in the process of being laid. We would definitely stay again.

Exceptionally clean elsewhere, but a fair bit of dog hair on the throws covering the sofas (only noticeable to me as our dog doesn’t shed). Not a criticism as the booking information is very clear, but a king-size or super-king in the main bedroom would be fantastic; the room is big enough to take one comfortably. The standard double feels really small when you are used to a larger bed.

Fabulous house and location! Perfect for a family. Pretty, incredibly clean, warm and cosy, has everything you need and more!

Loved it. Really homely great furniture, facilities utensils etc. location excellent. Nice garden and perfect for dogs. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was great. Maybe a larger bed in master bedroom, perhaps milk in fridge on arrival with coffee and tea ?
