APPLECROFT - Escape to the Peak District National Park

We wanted something that wasn't too expensive as we knew we'd be out most of the time. The house was a comfortable place to stay in a great location. We would definitely return.

Lovely clean, warm and comfortable house in a very quiet area. Just a short drive into Buxton for shopping or dinner etc. Excellent book of instructions left which basically covered any query.

The house was wonderfully equipped, everything you could think of is provided. The upstairs has a luxury feel to it. Three bathrooms are fantastic! Very secure garden for a dog. The whole estate is extremely peaceful, not a sound from anyone. The walks nearby are beautiful. The host, Ben, is very helpful. A lovely welcome gift of a bag of sweets and chocolate.

There is no phone signal at all. To buy anything online, you have to do it inside the house, then go outside and cross the road to get the text message code. Then back inside the house to finish the purchase. Anyone without a smart phone cannot make or receive calls/messages. There is no 'normal' TV. You can only watch live TV through the apps on the TV. You need to set up an account for each app (iPlayer, ITV player etc). Anyone who doesn't have a smart phone/laptop with them cannot do this.

Beautiful house in a quiet, convenient location. Easy to check in and out. Very clean and spacious. The host was welcoming and available when needed. Definitely recommend this amazing house ! 😀

This property is all you need for a perfect vacation. Located in the heart of the Peak District. Easy check in and out using code. Comfortable and very clean kitchen and bed rooms. Every room is equipped with all the required facilities and it seems the owner thought about every small detail. We were even spoiled with chips and wine. We would definitely recommend and return.
