Poco a Poco Junior

This hostel is awesome! Great location, friendly staff and a good wifi connection. The breakfast is affordable and tasty, there's a menu for food on delivery, hammocks in the garden to chill out and clean bathrooms. Great options for tours and shuttles/transfers. There's even a small swimming pool! Privacy curtains on the beds are great, and individual fans too. A wonderful experience!

The only thing I could say is that the tours and shuttles/transfers needed to be paid in cash, while the hostel and food/breakfast could be paid for by cash or card... but that wasn't a major issue.

Breakfast is great, eggs , pancakes, yogurt fruit and granola. You can also order off a menu of a restaurant own by the owner of the hostel and have it delivered. Amazing

There was nothing not to like

Clean rooms and friendly staff. You can book tours there, and there's filtered water and a large kitchen. I loved the curtains and the small private fan. For sleeping they turn on the aircondition. Everything you need....

We did not stay in this place at the end. In the reservation it was mentioned that they offered parking but when we get there the person at reception told us this is a mistake in booking and when I told them they need to find me a solution because we can not leave the car on the street since us they also said was not safe another very rude person came who claimed to be some manager to tell me that when they talk about parking they talk about the street. Lol! Really unpolite people with manners problems

Beds were comfy, dorms w ac, lockers, helpful staff

Normally there’s two bathrooms but the second was under construction during my stay. One bathroom between how ever many dorms is not practical. I went over to poco a poco multiple times to use their bathroom. Also there was a lot of bug dirt in my bed Minor but my pillow was very flat

Nice staff. Quiet, despite its very central location.

There was a very bad smell in the room, as well as mould against the walls. When I informed the staff about this, they told me they couldn't remove it because they didn't want to lose the revenue of a room by leaving it empty for a night to do a deep clean. I thought this was a weird excuse, especially since mould can be a health hazard. For most of my stay there was no to hardly any running water.
