Clean, welcoming layout with hammocks, space for relaxing and access to the pool. Dorms could be quite hot but every bed had curtains and a tiny fan.

Nothing really, maybe a bar by the pool would be nice? Beds were quite packed in so not easy rucksack storage, but you do have generous lock boxes

Staff were lovely and very helpful with bus times both locally and afar. Breakfast was great.

Another bathroom or a sink outside would be good.

I noticed the staff only wiped the floors with a mop, but there was lots of black mildew in the bathroom/on the bath mats. The bathrooms floors just needed to be scrubbed more deeply. You should never be barefoot while staying at a hostel anyways-but still.

Loved the hostel. Well organised and the staff were amazing. Liked that we could use the facilities over the road at Poco a Poco and enjoyed the activities offered. Christmas dinner was great and enjoyed the other activities like trivia night, bbq and the beach day.

Dorm beds were comfortable & included a light, power outlet & fan. Kitchen was spacious. Place was clean & quiet.

No locks on rooms or entrance to hostel, one night a person came in off the street asking us for food/money which was concerning given all the rooms are open at all times. Lockers are provided however this was a bit unsettling. Also only 2 bathrooms (toilet & shower in one) so had to wait to use the toilet most of the time.

Dorm was clean, kitchen was clean. Stuff nice and helpful. Location in walking distance to the major attractions of Leon and the hostels and places who offer tours. Daily activities with the other poco a poco hostel opposite of the junior one.

Only two bathrooms for all the dorms?!

I booked the property because it advertised air conditioning. However, I was informed that the A/C only operated from 9 pm to 9 am. The room was stuffy and uncomfortably hot before 9 pm. I suggested adjusting the operating hours to 6 pm to 6 am, but after consulting management, the suggestion was rejected due to the high cost of electricity in Nicaragua. Ironically, during the 9 pm to 9 am period, León’s outside temperature was quite pleasant—approximately the same as the A/C setting. As a result, the A/C was essentially useless. The real issue was that the room was unbearable before 9 pm because all the windows were closed in preparation for using the A/C. I left the property after just one night. Initially, I was told there were fine-print details on the Booking.com website about the A/C operating hours. However, I couldn’t find this information. When I asked the employee in charge to locate it, he claimed that Booking.com had failed to include it. I would appreciate it if Booking.com could address this issue and ensure accurate information is provided in the future.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. I loved the curtain, plug in and the light at each bed. It's the only hostel I found in Nicaragua that had all 3 of these things The staff was helpful and the location was an easy walk to downtown. The dorm room was large enough for everyone's suitcases and I appreciated the lockers.

I wish they would turn on the air conditioning a little earlier than 9 pm but I understand why they don't. Those ice cold showers will never be a plus, I don't care how hot it is.

Great choice of dorm rooms, air con in some. Great kitchen area kept very clean. Lots of activities if you wanted to join in. Nice chilled out garden area for quiet times

Only two bathrooms for the shared dorms and one seemed to be constantly covered in water on the floor
