"Nice place in lovely, quiet little village"

A good place to stay, the cottage is well presented, furnished and equipped. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms. The kitchen had everything needed for a short stay and overlooked the green. Bathroom was modern and a great shower. The village is lovely, the green at it's heart a great pub and good village shop and tea room. The owners were helpful and made sure we had all we needed on arrival and for the stay. We wished we could have stayed longer than the few days we had!

"Excellent short stay whilst transiting back home to Scotland"

Well equipped accommodation in a very pretty and welcoming village. The property overlooked the village green and was light and bright . The location is very good for dog walks , and also other attractions such as Barnard Castle. , Raby Castle and Richmond. The host was very good on communication both pre and during visit . Would not hesitate to return.
