Forestiva Farm - River Cottage

We loved the property the peace and serenity with the amazing sound of water flowing just pure amazing The hot tub was great on the second day so so peaceful and relaxing Steffen was a amazing host friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived Forgot to bring wood, guess what there is wood to use all over the property to make an amazing bonfire Be ready to see nature a lot of spider outside spinning webs a snake or two might cross your path and a few amazing bugs outside to see and if you love adventure take a hike on the trails The house come fully stocked with 2 fridges to be used.

No Tv, however his isn’t a let down as the time in the cottage is meant for peace and quiet

The location is wild🥰🥰 No need to collect keys as the place is very secured so we got our property open and ready for us. Coming back very soon.

The sceneries Nature Relaxing Very private Loved it

Beautiful property, surrounded by nature.

We were met by the very friendly host who waste no time in explaining the various items to us. We enjoyed the scenic drive to the cabin, and we were very happy to see that it looks exactly like it does in the photos. Beautifully tucked away and private but provided a very calming atmosphere with the sounds of the river. We loved the hike to the mountain top, and we could here lions during sunset. All-in-all it was a great stay, and we will surely stay there again.

The interior was slightly dated but it did provide us with everything we needed. Being in the bush and next to the river, we had frequent visits from spiders and various bugs. It is best to close the widows during sunset to prevent the bugs from entering the house when the lights are on. My suggestion would be to bring some bug spray if some bugs do make it into the house. Also bring some Tupperware or sealable containers if you plan on staying more than a day.

The hot water tub was not hot And the lapa was full of dust

Location and that it was secluded.

The fact that the second day we requested for the hot tub pump to be started so that it could get warm during the day as there was at least 3 hours of good sun Ray's however they just said it's overcast. I specifically booked a place for the hot tub.

The area is peaceful and having a space with no electronics was a nice was to switch off. Bed was super comfortable.

The fridge is a bit small for a self catering unit. Having to bring tour own food can require more space if staying longer than 3 nights.
