Location was amazing with an incredible view. Loved that the heart of a beautiful, surprisingly lively hillside village is steps away. Good transportation down to the lake and back until midnight.

Sylvia was an exceptionally helpful host, providing lots of useful information. The apartment was clean and has an amazing balcony looking over the lake. It is well-equipped with an induction hob, washing machine, and dish washer. There are plenty of options - walk (the walk up is hard but doable), bus, night bus - to get to/from Varenna and from there all around the lake by train or ferry.

The shower is a little awkward as it is very low down, however this can’t be helped. Also, don’t be expecting exceptional wifi/data - just put your phone away and enjoy the view.

Sylvie was the best host we’ve ever had, from the moment we arrived, all the way through the trip! She met us in town and showed us to some lovely restaurants and bars, and helped us with bookings. The house was spotless and spacious and had a beautiful view from the balcony. Every detail was considered in the house which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Silvia was an amazing host! She communicated well with us; meeting us at the property and finding us a free parking spot for our "larger" car. She was quick to respond to our questions and was always very kind and helpful. The apartment was large, with two comfy beds, beautiful finishes, and a well-equipped kitchen This apartment's greatest asset was its views from the balcony!

This is minor but Instructions for using the induction stove would have been helpful. We were able to look up instructions online. The road to the condo is tricky, very narrow and steep.

Delightful, kind, friendly host who provided assistance with our luggage, dinner reservations, taxi service, and availability to enhance our stay and experience in Lake Como. An added bonus was a small neighborhood market within a city block.

Full panoramic view from balcony was impeded by large pine trees on a neighboring property and out of host’s control. Taxi service is higher than other areas of Italy.

Sylvia was a wonderful host. She responds very quickly, the apartment was clean and had what you might need. The views were fantastic! Sylvia provides recommendations and the apartment even has a washing machine.

It was a bit of a challenge to get to and from Varenna from this airbnb simply because of the incline. There was a delay in taxis, but the drivers are wonderful, you just have to plan a bit. It is possible to walk!

Sylvia was exceptionally kind and helpful, treating us like friends and giving good suggestions for how to enjoy our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the view from the patio was wonderful!

Figuring out the local bus schedule was difficult for us so we arranged taxis
