Kuka y Milpa

Het is allemaal mooi ingericht, er hangt een fijne sfeer. De kamer was prachtig, heel fijn comfortabel bed. Het ontbijt was goed, aardig en behulpzaam personeel.

Niets. Alles was super goed.

Le lit est très confortable. Les déjeuners sont bien. C’est super joli mais ce qu’on ne voit pas sur les photos c’est que c’est un « décor », aussi chaleureux qu’un lobby d’hôtel….

Je croyais que ce serait un style « bed and breakfast » plus comme une auberge… mais c’est clairement un hôtel très régulé et hyper concept…. Un décor de cinéma…. Une musique style café bossanova qui tourne en boucle…. En dehors de la chambre tout est très peu confortable. Un salon dont personne ne se sert, chaque objets est posés pour faire parti d’une thématique design, une cuisine dans laquelle on passe pour accéder aux chambres mais qui est strictement réservé au staff… on ne peut même pas se faire un café, et il n’y a pas de café dans les chambres. Le staff est omniprésent, de très tôt le matin jusqu’à la soirée, ce qui rend malaisant d’utiliser même la piscine…. Ils passent leur avant midi dans la cuisine à jaser et écouter des vidéos sur leurs cell, personnellement nous ne les avons pas trouvé super chaleureux….

I wish the pool looked better cared for. I couldn’t swim in it.

Hotel boutique precioso! Las habitaciones son amplias, decoración preciosa inspirada en tradiciones mexicanas, y la mejor cama en la que dormimos durante todo el viaje. Destacamos el uso de materiales naturales en acabados, muebles, decoración etc. El desayuno incluido es un extra muy valorado, y delicioso! Vimos también los otros hoteles (Kuka y Letras y Kuka Silvestre). Muy bellos todos! El staff muy atento y amable.

We had a fantastic stay at Kuka y Milpa and would recommend to any couple visiting Merida. The hotel is beautiful and very romantic, and the breakfast is also very high quality. Staff let us check in early (as we had communicated to them we'd be arriving around 1pm) and our room was ready for us. The hotel also helped us organise a private tour to Celestun which was great and highly recommended (instead of the Tripadvisor/Viator tours which are long and expensive). The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the main centre of town and while it's on residential roads it's not unsafe (although pavements are a bit uneven and you might be walking on the roads at times).

The bathroom while being very pretty has an open ceiling meaning animals and insects can come in at night (which might annoy some people) While other reviews said the hotel would make you a sandwich to take away if you left before breakfast on checkout day they insisted on charging us $100 pesos each (which is not what we'd read beforehand) so don't assume that info is still correct. They said this is because we were leaving at 6am but we would have been happy for the sandwiches to be made the night before so not sure that really stacks up.

L’hôtel est splendide, décoré avec beaucoup de goût ! Le petit-déjeuner est excellent. La chambre est très grande (plus grande que sur les photos) Le personnel est à l’écoute et disponible

Il manquait des couverts dans la cuisine donc nous n’avons pas pu dîner comme prévu

L’hôtel est d’un charme exceptionnel. La chambre était parfaite. Emplacement: 15-20 min à pieds du centre historique. Le petit dej était très bon.

Süße Unterkunft, die eigentlich aus 3 Häusern besteht, die man alle nutzen kann (die Rezeption ist in einem der anderen Häuser, einmal über die Straße). Wir hatten das Zimmer mit offenem Bad, sehr schön, bis auf die Gelsen ;-) Frühstück war auch gut. Die Unterkunft ist 2 Gassen vom ADO-Busbahnhof entfernt und man geht ein ~ 10 Minuten ins Zentrum. Die Unterkunft hat uns einen Besuch der Hacienda Mucuyche samt Fahrer organisiert zu einem fairen Preis (vor allem war nach meiner Anfrage in der Hacienda kein Termin möglich, das Hotel hat es aber geschafft).

Struttura bella e molto piacevole, belle le stanze, il bagno bellissimo, belli gli ambienti comuni. Buona la colazione, fatta al momento davanti ai nostri occhi.

La posizione, pur essendo a 15 Min da plaza grande, è decentrata e in un quartiere desolato che a prima vista fa anche paura, soprattutto la sera. All' albergo ci hanno garantito che fosse una zona tranquilla.
