I had the most delightful stay at this hotel! The decor is absolutely stunning—every corner feels thoughtfully designed and exudes elegance. They truly seem to have thought of everything to make their guests feel comfortable and pampered. The bathroom was stocked with an impressive selection of toiletries, which was such a thoughtful touch. I also loved the convenience of the mini bar and the well-stocked tea and coffee station—it was such a treat to enjoy a hot drink in the comfort of my room. This hotel goes above and beyond in every detail, and I can’t wait to return!”

Pity we stayed there when the pub was closed - so had to travel for a meal If you are a vegetarian/vegan, beware the complimentary crisps

The Dusk room is very cosy, nicely decorated and very well equipped. The shower was great,, as were the fluffy dressing gowns! Bed was comfortable, tea bags were of high quality and the fridge was stocked with fresh milk and bottled water. TV was easy to work. We had a lovely couple of days! And the breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful rooms and delicious food

It's a nice, welcoming pub surrounded by a village atmosphere. I can see why the accommodation on offer gets such good reviews. Aside from the amazing atmosphere in the pub (I picked a day where they had an open mic session), the room way surpassed my expectations. The attention to detail was incredible with quality toiletries and decor. It had that "comfy farmhouse bedroom" feel about it with a modern overlay to make sure all the amenities were "spot on". The shower was super powerful and clearly very new. The look and feel of the room and bathroom have clearly been designed by someone who knows what they're doing in terms of taste, comfort and "customer journey" in mind. I'm now looking for excuses to be back in the area for another stay at the Sun. It's worth noting that Tuesdays are its Open Mic sessions where locals rock up to give a performance to those present. You won't get a better atmosphere. Absolutely brilliant night!
