Eyja Mork - Aurora Dome with Private Bathroom and other facilities

I expected a lot of this accommodation, but in the end, it failed to succeed fully. The location is nice, the dome is interesting, heated toilet, nice, and you got all you need for your stay, but not on needed level... The outside area is nice, the outdoor setting looks good but it was too cold for usage Also, the housekeeping crew (Javier, if not wrong) is amazing!

Super cold, even with all heating on... also, heating gas stove creating lot of gas smell which stays in the room. Even when you use it on 1 of 3 setting. Door cannot be fully closed, also cannot be normally open as they scrape the floor so you need to push hard and with lot of noise... All the amenities provided are a bit cluttered.

Wonderful place surrounded by breathing nature. Our favorite on the trip we've done around Iceland.

Nice location, got to see the northern lights from bed

We happened to stay when it was very stormy and genuinely thought we were going to blow away. There is no over head covering when in the shower so the water which didn’t stay warm for very long was blowing all o er the place whilst trying to shower

The host had thought about every little thing you might need and it was super warm and cosy.

Oh what a treat, we stayed just 1 night. It was an experience. Lovely and snowy outside -12, warm and snug inside. Bring a prepared dinner, microwave toaster and kettle, who wants to cook a dinner when the view is amazing. Outside bbq, lovely outside heated seating area. Outside toilet has improved immensely since I was young 10 out 10

Perfect way to see the northern lights. We were lucky it appeared for us, but the dome meant we could experience it for ourselves and in comfort. The host was very nice - gave us our space but was there fire anything we needed. The dome was very warm and cosy.

The dome was an excellent quirky stay. Javier couldn't do enough to accommodate our needs. The lights and heating were on for our arrival. The dome itself was very comfortable with lots of amenities for the stay along with lots of blankets etc incase of the cold but the heating kept us warm. The outdoor seating area with heating lamp was perfect to bbq and the views were amazing. Location only 5mins from seljalandsfoss and the main road, perfect for the south coast. :)

The front door had no cover/blind so would be good to have one for more privacy or those bright summer mornings.

Was very clean and comfortable plenty amenities for tea and toast and too keep you warm will definitely be back
