MiChoc Homestay - Hostel

The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. They told me already at check in that there is some construction going on and might be noisy. The bedroom with bunk beds is spacious and beds are cozy.

Unfortunately from the hygienic point of view needs a BIG improvement. The toilets and bathrooms were not cleaned (for days), the trash was not taken out and it started to smell really badly. There is dust in the room and downstairs at the reception area. The location has potential but a basic cleaning is needed. For the price you pay you could stay somewhere else.

Bed was comfortable, the place looks good. They have bike to rent.

Too dirty, too far from the main things, stayed there 3 days and never see anyone cleaning, I got much of bites and I know it is bed bugs (you can confirm in the photos), but I told to the staff and he said “no, because they washed the sheets every day, maybe I’m allergic”

Staff is friendly and breakfast is basic but good.

There could be an improvement with the cleanliness. Dorm room was dusty. Bunk beds lacked individual lights so the room had to have a fluorescent light all turned on or no lights at all. Shared sink was dirty and bathrooms weren't cleaned as well - slight smell coming from the men's bathroom.

Very good location if you want to be in the city. Hosts are very friendly, sociable and good fun with the travellers. Very reasonable price for the stay for budget travellers.

The host is very kind and accommodating. He allowed me to check out later because I had to wait for a night bus. The breakfast was simple but delicious, the coffee was great! The rooms are clean and spacious. I loved the location - It's a walking distance to the old city. Around a couple of amazing food places. The people living in this area were super friendly, and you can observe the local vietnamese life without touristy hussle.

Really clean and new property. Showers were great and warm. More than enough facilities
