The Boathouse was perfectly located in Ripon which we used as a base to explore the area. The finish of everything was high standard and every detail was really well thought out. Stayed with children aged 3 and 7 for 4 nights which was an ideal amount of time for the size of the accommodation. Everything there for cooking and cleaning which was really good. We met the hosts who were really responsive when messaging and also very welcoming when we arrived.

The only drawback was that we couldn't park outside the property even to unload which was quite difficult with small children and all of the associated luggage! It was also raining heavily when we were there so it was inconvenient at times with the car being away from the property. Having said that, this wouldn't stop me recommending this place, it is just worth noting for those with little ones or mobility issues.

The video received beforehand was very helpful. The beds were lovely and comfy and the location was really good. Also helpful info re restaurants and shops was helpful

Maybe a bottle of milk in the fridge would have been nice.
