The people working there are exceptional. We had a late evening train departure and coming back from our tracking tour we were given the chance to take a shower. This was really ideal!!! The view is amazing too! Highly recommend This hotel.

Séjour très agréable, en plein dans les rizières et les montagnes. Environnement de l’hôtel est superbe. Très bon petit déjeuner, arrangeant sur les horaires. De même que pour dîner le soir, loin de la frénésie touristique de Sapa. Chambre très calme. A noter que l’hôtel propose des excursions directement depuis l’hôtel, qui seront plus intéressantes que celle en groupe au départ de Sapa. (En logeant directement dans la vallée) Route d’accès compliqué, 150 000 VND pour un taxi recommandé par l’hôtel car tous ne veulent pas y aller. Préférer la location de scooter uniquement si vous êtes à l’aise avec. Nous recommandons à 100%.

Maison de Lao Chai est au milieu des rizières, la vue depuis la chambre est superbe ! Chambre spacieuse et confortable, petit-déjeuner plutôt bien !

Hotel très éloigné du centre (autour de 3/4€ pour un grab). Nous avons signalé des cafards dans notre chambre et rien n’a été fait.. enfin, ils construisent de nouveaux bungalows dans l’hôtel, c’est à dire du bruit de travaux constant de 7h30 à 17h30, pas très en accord avec le calme recherché quand on vient dans ce type d’hôtel, dommage.

Loved the views of the mountains, the stepped rice fields and the general peace and quiet. Breakfast is limited but decent. So is the general menu. One can eat something when hungry but don't expect it to be mind blowing!!

The access road is very rough and pothole ridden. Not great for the lower back. Also the main town is some distance away (20 mins drive) and one will need to go to the main town centre for pretty much everything.
