"The proprietor was very nice. The lobby was cozy. The location was good."

The warnings prior to arrival about a minimum fine if you got caught with a dog, or smoking pot or cigarettes. A bit excessive.

Viking Lodge was clean, spacious and functional. For an older building, they’ve done a great job of making it nice.

The beds were a little creaky :)

"Charming Lodge"

The Viking Lodge is a charming ski resort. Its location is ideal, with numerous restaurants and shops in close proximity. The staff is courteous and recommended excellent places to dine.

Danish pastries are only served on Saturday mornings & no coffee maker in our room. Given the room rate, I would anticipate daily breakfast & an in-room coffee maker.

Great location, really nice place. Cozy lobby and friendly staff.

Snowplows on road / parking lot outside were pretty loud at 6 AM, but that's obviously part of staying in a ski town.
