"It was ok. The apartment needs a good clean."

It was adequate for our stay. The beds comfortable.

It was dirty. The stairs leading up to the apartment needed sweeping, as did the apartment itself. The bathroom was filthy. The owner was disappointed that the cleaners had not done their job.
