Clock Tower Retreat - Sea View Apartments in Morecambe

The flat was quiet and I do appreciate to have been allowed a late check out. They tried somehow to sort out some issues even though not to expected standards.

First of all my jaw dropped when I saw such a narrow spiral staircase, I really struggled carrying my suitcase up to the second floor due to my delicate bones, and everytime going in or out. I wasn't made aware about this drawback prior to booking or arrival.I wasn't expecting not to be able to use the freezer which should have been defrosted, or a dirty oven either. Kitchenware scarce and not in the best clean condition. No mattress protector on bed at all, just a sheet. The ironing board had no protector either. The wardrobe was full with extra duvets for the sofa bed and the drawer with the pillows. A sofa blanket had two large stains. I used another dark one though no fresh smell.

We loved the location.Sunset views were spectacular from lounge area.Really handy for shops,restaurants and promenade.

Only problem was the weather but thats nobody's fault.

Staff were exceptional and very accommodating around my travel needs. Wonderfully warm on arrival

Absolutely nothing

Nice place, great big bed and smart TV, that's all I want . Only stayed for the first night of 2 as I was sent somewhere else to work, but if I return, I would stay here.

Sofa, those sofa beds are so uncomfortable to sit on, it's not worth it to say there's an extra bed because you can't enjoy the sitting down after a long Day, sat on the bean bag. Sorry. I let everyone know if I leave a review. That's it. Cheers

Excellent location, comfortable apartment

Liked everything, the location right opposite the clock tower sea view, had doors that opened up onto a balcony, The apartment had everything you needed for your stay, spotless.

Central location, great views, well equipped. Good communication.

Other occupants kept leaving the building door unlocked and this is not a salubrious area. There was someone rough sleeping in the public toilets at the clock-tower opposite the apartment. The area is not particularly safe so the door issue needs resolving. My queries were quickly responded to but the owner may be better considering a default locking mode rather than a conventional snag-lock.
