Barceló Maya Riviera - All Inclusive Adults Only

The property is beautiful. The views are amazing.

Felt like a luxury resort, except for the food. Quality and options did not match the rest of the experience.

Everything was good, room, pools, beach, shows, restaurants a la carte, all really good.

There is only one restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and the three days of our stay the food was always similar in the breakfast and lunch.

Great stay just a lot of walking. Wish there were more food options at night on the adult side. The lobby bar had some but a few more options would have been great.

It was OK experience it was big quiet and safe. However, the dining and the food overall was horrible.. also the staff were not very helpful.

I’ve stayed at several Barceló resorts, but the Barceló Riviera Adults Only in Riviera Maya just raised the bar again. From the killer customer service to the endless buffet, top-notch restaurants, gorgeous beach, massive pool, strong drinks, nonstop entertainment, and activities for every mood...it was perfection from start to finish. Barceló just doesn’t miss. Highly recommend. 👌

Everything was more than expected- absolutely stunning properties, helpful, friendly staff, all food options were delicious.

This was my first time reviewing a place I stayed, but Barcelo Maya Riviera truly deserved it. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their kindness. Although our room wasn’t ready at check-in, they quickly reassigned us to another available room so we could settle in right away. Every interaction—from front desk to servers and bartenders—was friendly and accommodating. Most restaurants offered four-course meals and happily provided extra dishes for us to sample. We spent most of our time by the pool near the Music Bar, where the bartenders were efficient and fun, and even tho we know they were on the clock, it look like they were actually enjoying what they were doing, a lot of them engaging on the activities with the guest and giving the impression that they were actually having a good time. We didn’t feel the need to leave the resort thanks to the convenient shuttles and walkways connecting the properties. Maya Riviera stood out for being more relaxed and less crowded than the others. All in all, the experience exceeded our expectations!
