A beautiful thatched roof pub. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were able to check in around 15.00 (usually at 16.00), thank you so much for that! The cooked breakfast was extra but what was included in the price, was very nice too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rose and Crown. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Edyta, James and Monty. The room we stayed in was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, we slept so well! It was so peaceful there too, we couldn't hear any sound from the bar at all. The food was excellent and they even saved us a roast dinner for after our walk to Sherborne on Sunday, we have never experienced such wonderful service in all the places we have stayed in. The warm, raspberry compote filled croissants at breakfast deserve a special mention too.....delicious! I would highly recommend staying here, so friendly and welcoming from the locals too, thank you so much for a memorable stay 😊
