Great location, not expensive at all, clean property.

It wasn't private - the host lived in the same property in a different room. This isn't clear on the property page at all and we wouldn't have booked if we knew this. We luckily had friends who offered us their spare room almost immediately after we arrived, so we took them up on the offer.

Host Aris was waiting outside when we arrived and he was very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

The location is perfect for an easy walk to most cruise ships. It's also close to the historical walls, restaurants, and shops. This is not a hotel type room. It's a private room with a bathroom outside the bedroom but for private use...kinda like many airb&b rentals... inside a residential building. There is a lift and ramps to the building so moving luggage in and out is easy. The room has everything needed including a small fridge, kettle and a table with 2 chairs. Everything is very clean and the bed comfortable. Donna, the hostess was welcoming and made sure we had everything needed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again for a night before a cruise.

The tub/ shower is a deep soaking tub so climbing in and out might be tough for some people. There are no USB ports and limited available plugs. There is no TV nor is there air conditioning so in hot weather it might be warm. The room is part of a home so there is quite a bit of personal decorations which make the room feel tighter. Directions could be better for finding the location. Thankfully Donna saw us searching and waved from the balcony.

Location was easy to get to with a co-op store just down the street as well as the bus station. Teli was a great host - friendly and ready to accommodate requests. Room came with a minifridge as well which was greatly appreciated.

Nothing, we were never able to get in...we waited outside for 2 hours for the owner to connect with us. We messaged, called, knocked on the door. No response. We had to find another room to rent, paying twice the amount we paid for this location and the owner will not reimburse us for him not showing up. The owner tells us it was our fault. How is that our fault that he didn't show up?

RUN FAR AWAY...The owner is a piece of work. He uses the excuse that he doesn't speak good English to get out of taking ownership for his actions. He didn't show up. We were outside the place with our luggage and with jet lag for 2 hours trying to get access to the place. The owner didn't respond to our messages, calls, we knocked on the door, rang to the room, etc. Over and over we attempted to connect. After 2 hours we found a different hotel. The owner tells us that he messaged us on whatsapp (the time he messaged was after the initial 2 hours in which we were trying to connect with him. First off, I didn't have whatsapp on the phone I was using. Second, it never tells me on the booking to make sure I have access to whatsapp for connecting with the property. I was using the messages that is on the booking site. The owner tells me it is my fault...how in the world is it my fault that he didn't show up??????? He makes no sense and will not take ownership for him not being there. The owner also lied to us, saying that his wife was in the room the whole time. That's a puzzling thought, as we got access into the secure building two different times (with help from other people) and we knocked on the door. No answer. He is a liar and will not take responsibility for being a terrible host. If he wants to do business as a host then he needs to take responsibility to be a good host instead of blaming others for his shortcomings or use the excuse that he doesn't speak the language. He is not a qualified host. Additionally, the location is not marked well and it was difficult to find, we had to ask people who were passing by for help to locate the right building. There are plenty of reviews that confirm that this place is difficult to find, which it is. In addition, the host is not responsive and should not be in the business. RUN FAR AWAY.

Location great, could walk from train station and to cruise port and there are historic sights & shopping/dining options within walking distance. Host was easy to contact and willing to help with anything we needed. Couldn’t beat the price, would use again for an overnight before or after a cruise. Provided water, fridge, kettle with tea/coffee.

Some people might be uncomfortable with the bathroom setup as it is not en-suite to the bedroom but located just next to the bedroom accessed thru a shared entryway. The bathroom is not shared, and host locks off their quarters but they still come and go thru the same entryway that the guest bedroom and bathroom are off of.
