Charming, Bright, Hilltop Apartment.

It was very homely. The weather wasn't great for our visit so it was lovely that we could stay in cook and relax

The location was as described, quiet area and not too hard to find a parking space nearby. The apartment was well equipped, clean and comfortable so great value for money. It was easy to reach the Old town and Hastings beach etc.

The seagulls get up early !

Great cosy apartment in a nice location. Well insulated from noise and I assume temperature (was there when not cold or hot). Always found parking on the road outside. Short walk (down hill) to Hastings old town. Comfortable bed.

Narrow bath with shower could challenge people with mobility problems (I managed OK). No room for a washing machine, so I had to go to the launderette in Hastings old town

The place was clean, comfy and everything was there to relax and to cook a nice meal. The bedroom is in the backside, so nice and quiet. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. We enjoyed the fact that the appartment was on the hill, close to the park with sea views. We saw a fox there. The sea and the hills for (long) walks are also very close.

Great water pressure and hot water temperature in the shower. Ironing board and iron were great to have.

Not being able to see out of the windows due to privacy ‘stickers’. This meant I felt very closed off. Sofa not very comfortable. Synthetic duvet was too warm. Throw on the bed had marks on it. Towels left black bits all over me when I used them! Entrance hall very grotty

I liked the rustic vibes, but not tacky. The artwork, the rustic dining sets and cups. There was a spare set of bedding; it was very clean, which was what I was worried about. The reading book space. I am a reader and was very happy when I saw it.

While everything was spotless, the cupboard held old food seasonings. It would have been handy but they were extremely out of date, because of this I didn't trust the teas and sugars that were there, which I was dying for on arrival. Also, while everything was clean, there were light brown hair strands inside the bed, so when I was sleepy, I had to re-do the bed, but was happy when I saw the spare brand new bedding. Lastly, which was the biggest thing, was the noise. Constant DIY work, which started from 08:00 through the morning. I came here for quietness, but the constant hammering, excessively loud drilling, didn't make it possible. I don't know if the Owner was aware that all this would be happening throughout my stay, but I mentioned it in my notes before booking which I know the Owners read. I still gave it a high rating because everything could be easily rectified. It was the noise that couldn't be. I would come back if it weren't for the noise.

Free parking in the street, but very hard to find a spot. Corner shop but very expensive, Tv with lots of choice, nice to have a bath,

Very disappointed with the outsider of the building on arrival, as its in bad need of a face lift, area is run down Hallway to the flat is very poor and carpet is dirty and very stained at entrance to the flat, Sofa in lounge uncomfortable, lounge windows have been covered with film for privacy, but you now can not see out or check on your car, etc BEDROOM WINDOW (large) lock is broken off and window can not be locked so anyone could climb in, (owner says waiting for a replacment) but I think we should have been told, also inside of curtains very badly stained, fridge has black mould in seal,

Spacious and private. Well appointed. Communicative host. Location was ideal for me.
