Marine Parade Sea View 2-Bedroom Apartment

We liked the high ceilings and windows and original wood flooring and elegant drapes. The view was great (the sea and Brighton Pier). We appreciated that we could go out on the balcony, albeit only through the window. There was a huge bath which was lovely.

The kitchen cabinets were badly hung, a couple even seemed to open backward. The bedrooms were cramped and there was inadequate closet space. Had to buy hangers. The back bedroom had no electrical outlet and got no internet until we asked for an extender and a power bar. The heating didn't work for a few days until we asked about it and it turned out the boiler hadn't been serviced for the winter season yet. We had to have the wifi router replaced several times which meant going without internet on and off for several days while each one repeatedly failed in turn. The management were responsive and the wife was eventually sorted out

The appearance of the front door to the building was very tatty and weather worn. Didn't give a good impression or match the standard of the apartment.

Great location, views of sea and pier. 10 minutes walk to Brighton Pavilion and other attractions. comfortable beds and great decor.

Would benefit from a dishwasher rather than a washing machine.

Cons Very noisy from apartment above every early morning and late evening including a dog yapping Wooden floors are rough in some places and require rubbing down and smoothing as dangerous splinters Suggest use some mould and mildew cleaner spray on the grout and other areas of the shower Suggest advise what brand of coffee maker there is so pods can be purchased beforehand or even a few complimentary ones Bit of a walk to the town, restaurants and Lanes etc Mess and rubbish in front of apartment building

We had a great stay. 100% recommend. Location excellent, sea view, apartment has all you need. Clean and tidy.
