Reuben's Highland Retreat - Speyside

A lovely haven, tranquil and peaceful. Clean and well equipped. Central for all our activities in the National Park.

Fantastic setting, very serene. Carrbridge village was good and plenty walking trails. Kitchen was modern and well equipped. Whole chalet was spotlessly clean and bedding and towels of good quality and also very clean. Wildlife (deer, rabbits and ducks) were a constant entertainment. Great comms by owners pre arrival although we never met them.

Bathroom needs an update in decor. Two bedroom chalet was a challenge to access for elderly parent (3 bedroom chalets have wheelchair access). Chalet was cold on arrival which gave a poor initial impression in a wet day. These are minor complaints for the owner to consider and did not unduly impact what was a great stay. Would probably book the 3 bedroom chalet in future.

There is nothing I didn't like.

Good location for us and nice and quiet. Liked the out-look around the cabin. Cabin was clean, warm and the beds were comfortable. And it was entertaining watching the ducks outside.

The single chairs in the living room in our cabin were not comfortable to sit on.
