Clean room and comfortable beds; quiet property; friendly staff; restaurant on property had good, reasonably priced steak (get sweet potato fries & roasted squash as sides).

The room was spare and dated; hot water tap in sink didn't work. Battery was out on the TV remote so that didn't work either. A pretty high price for an out of the way room at a country club.

The room was very nice & clean, with a fridge & a microwave which we needed, nice patio facing the pool, the water & ice dispenser within our reach was a plus. We like the open « cabinet ». We were able to hang our clothes however we wanted. The same hanging space outside the bathroom was handy. San Jacinto Resto’s Margarita is the best in town. Good food served, though service could be better.

The coffee maker didn’t work. No wonder the container was filled with water when we opened. It was probably done by the previous guests. We weren’t able to prepare our coffee. Luckily the Sand Wedge opens early. There isn’t too many electric sockets in the room. We had to put the coffee maker on the chair to reach the socket. There should be one in between the beds so we can charge our phones within our reach.

The location for us was good because we were going birding at Big Morongo Nature Preserve. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was good. The room was clean, modern and well kept up.

Checking in takes some effort and persistence. There is no reception and no signs directing you to an administrative office where you check in, get your key, and the rules for staying there.

The property was beautiful and well maintained.

You could hear between buildings really well, the walls were thin.

Rooms adequate and roomy but tend towards the spartan. Functional. Decent restaurant.

Bit strange. A country club with a few rooms. Two hour window to check in. Wi-fi did not work and no staff on the desk after 5. Room opens onto swimming pool which was noisy and had to keep drapes closed. No place to put soap in shower. Hot water slow to heat up. Not sure why some people rated it ten. Remote from any commercial area. Hours listed in printed material do not correspond with actual hours.

We loved this place. A little more than what I normally spend, but I felt it was worth it. You walk right out to the pool from your room. Beds were comfortable, the patio door kept out about 95% of the noise, and it had a full cable line up to watch when we were done exploring for the day. It is out of the way a bit, about 20 minutes to Palm Springs and 30-40 to Palm Desert, but it felt safe and was very clean. They make up your room daily, not a full clean, but they take out the trash, make the beds, and replace towels/toiletries, if needed. They have a cafe on site, we only had the pizza, but it was delicious. We had absolutely no complaints, but here are some things that didn't bother us but could be an issue for others: The toilet and shower area is very tight, and the shower head is very low. I'm 5'4" and I had to lean back a bit. They start prepping for the day pretty early, cleaning the pool and patio, around 7:00, the noise isn't excessive, we probably only noticed since we were already awake. The outlets in our room were not in the most convenient places, but we made do. We would absolutely stay here again if we visit the area.
