The accommodation is conveniently located just behind the Cherapunji Bazaar/Market. The manager sent someone to greet me, as it's a bit hidden in a back street. So it's quiet, with a spacious room and private bathroom. There's a big terrace outside and a sitting area in the room. There's a large water heater in the bathroom?, plenty of hot water and some large, fluffy blankets for those cold nights. The host is friendly and helpful. In short, a nice stay.

It would be nice to have drinking water for guests, and perhaps a water kettle in the room.

The host Freddie is a fantastic guy. A gentleman and he knows Hospitality. The room was basic as per the budget and perfect. The entire room and bathroom were super clean. During the morning, bright sunlight 🌞 will greet you. ✨️ There were nice traditional and local chairs and a table in my room and I quite like them. The room was spacious, too.

Host was super nice, good location near bazar, very clean and quiet place.

Freddy the host is an excellent host. Takes care of your every need. He is extremely helpful.

Finding the place is a task. But it is 2 mins from the Cherrapunji Main Bazaar

The location is perfect, 2 min walking distance from the market and in the heart of Sohra centre. The room and the attached bathroom are spacious and clean. Great value for money. Fredy, the owner, is always helpful and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The location is a little tricky to find, but if you ask to Fredy or to anyone in the neighbourhood they can give you directions to reach the homestay.
