"A lovely stay"

Lovely unique accommodation. Very private, clean and Nothing to dislike nicely decorated interior with everything needed for self catering. It was good being out of the main town of Okuhane and a easy pleasant drive. Maryanne provided us with all info needed and a treat of freshly baked muffins on one cold bleak morning. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable, well furnished, hosts are in the unit next door and very welcoming. 6 min drive to okahune town centre and about 50 mins to the national park. Nice little kitchenette well stocked with teas and coffee. Lots of nice little touches that make the place feel very homey. Good heat pump and additional heater for the main area and bathroom, so we never felt cold. Would highly recommend for anyone who is coming to explore the mountain or national park and has access to their own car.

Wifi was a bit patchy but hosts said this was getting fixed. Not a downside but just to be aware the place runs of tank water so guests will need to be careful with water use for showering.

"Wonderful studio as a base for Tongariro"

Beautiful studio with everything you need. We used this as a base for hiking in Tongariro national park. The town was quiet with a stunning view of the mountains when the weather cleared.
