Countryside in the Town.

It is big with a beautiful ambience. Adrian, the host, is a great guy, and I wish he was closer to me at home – he would be my friend.

Nothing

It was quiet and had everything we needed. It was a relatively short walk into Shrewsbury, and the view from the patio really was like countryside in the town! Adrian's dog Kipling loved playing with our dog, and Adrian was a lovely host and we had several good chats!

Nothing to be honest!

Adrian, the host was polite, courteous, extremely friendly and adaptable with early/late check ins and out. The view of the valley was beautiful and the property is well maintained, and beautifully presented.

The apartment probably started life as a garage conversion attached to a semi detached house. It has been transformed into a surprisingly well equipped and nicely finished apartment with a lovely area of outdoor space. Once inside, you forget that you are on a residential street. The apartment was a good size for 2 people and was perfectly adequate for our needs.

Cleanliness could be improved. It was by no means filthy, but the floors needed a sweep as there was what appeared to be black dog hair on them. It wasn't so visible in the hallway and living areas as the laminate was dark coloured, but they were visible in the bathroom and on the bedroom carpet. The shower cubicle had mould on the grout/sealant on the lower tiles and the beading on the bathroom tiles was visibly dusty, as was the shelving area on the right of the dressing table. Inside the pan cupboards also needed a wipe. A little more attention to detail needed with cleaning and the apartment would have been given 10/10.

Wow what a hidden gem, once inside you think you are in the country, the terrace area is an added bonus and facilities more than catered for us on our one night stay

It was such a lovely little home. Super spacious for two people and had everything we needed. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We met the host before leaving who was super friendly as well, and kindly helped us with our check in and check out preferences.

Everything was great.

Good location, buit unfortunately the road in fron was being dug up, which made access more difficult than it would have been normally.
