The Nook: Self Contained Annex

Convenient distance, just a walk away from town centre and train station. Small and cozy enough for 1 person or couple. Wanted for nothing during my 2 night stay.

The property was lovely and clean with modern facilities the Bathroom was lovely the kitchen had all the amenities you needed and parking permit was provided for the street parking for every day we were there. It’s in a good location for walking to the shops has a bridge over the railway to get into town.

Whilst it served it purpose it literally is just a place to put your head down. There is not enough storage we had to put our cases back in the car, it is advertised as a 1 bedroom annex so I expected a separate bedroom (should be advertised as a small studio) to my dismay it is a pull down bed so living room, kitchen, dining area and bedroom all squashed into this converted garage at the bottom of the garden. Once the bed is pulled down there is no room at all I had to climb over my husband in the night to get to the bathroom , I had to put the dog bed on the sofa at night as there was no where to put it. The kitchen is really only suitable for making hot drinks.

Was lovely and warm upon arrival for us, everything was well kept and looked after and was a very tidy place to stay

There is nothing for me to dislike

The Nook was a great place for us to stay whilst visiting family in Taunton. Great communication with the host and the place was very cosy and clean with all the amenities you could need for a short stay.

There wasn't a designated parking space & had to park on the verge outside the property.
