The Gambo Shepherd's Hut

I loved the fact we were welcomed before going , the room is perfect for space and the bed was so comfortable. The whole place was clean. The hot tub was ready too. The log fire is unbelievable good

Not that I didn’t like but room for improvement, light that shines onto hottub (lamp was great tho) & maybe a cover for it that’s about it.

Location was amazing. The site is located on a farm and you could look out the window to see the cows in the other field also with the views of the town and the sea from the window and seating area outside. The little things made it even better, we had wood provided for the fire pit outside so you could enjoy sitting outside late and night and although we didn’t use it there was a log burner inside too. Every little detail was thought of and the shops were only a stone throw away. You could visit the beaches and castles if you are into that too. The jacuzzi topped it all off which was well maintained and clean, enjoyed staying in there often. It was so private, which made it perfect. Inside was very clean and had everything you need. It was so peaceful and will definitely look to visit again.

Beautiful, tranquil setting. Warm and comfortable stay. Hot tub is a Great addition.

Property could possibly benefit from a small Microwave/air fryer to add to cooking provisions available although it has a great working hob so we managed fine.

We have stayed at Kidwelly Farm Cottages a few times - but this was our first time at The Gambo. It was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. The bed was really comfy and the sette was great. The hot tub was ready to go as soon as we got there. The weather was horrendous- we were slightly concerned that we were going to wake up in Oz! But cwtched up, with the log burner blazing, watching the rain blow sideways with flashes of fireworks and lightening was just bliss!
