Mermaid Cottage Teignmouth by the beach SLEEPS 7

Beautiful house, central and well equipped.

We had a fantastic stay in Mermaid cottage. The property was so well equipped, and spotlessly clean and location was fantastic, we could walk everywhere. We’d love to come back. We were 3 adults, 2 teens and 2 dogs and were comfortable but think 7 people would be a bit of a squeeze downstairs.

Beautifully kept and equipped

The location was perfect for shops, restaurants, car park and is only a short walk to the seafront. For context we are mother and adult daughter plus little dog and the accommodation suited us perfectly. We used the bedrooms on the first floor which was served by a bathroom but the large bedroom on the second floor was charming with TV, Sky etc. The shower room on the ground floor was a very useful addition. I can’t think of a single item from home that I missed as the kitchen was well-equipped including the Nespresso machine. Even dog blankets were provided to cover the sofas, dog bowls and towels too.

I liked it all but think the downstairs would be small for 7 people. That's just a constructive observation.

Everything was amazing, lovely cottage, short walk to town and beach.

Very limited "river views" are only slightly from one window on the top floor.
