Leith Walk 1 bedroom Apartment

If you like Leith, this is a very well-situated apartment. A walk's away from a host of supermarkets and nice bakeries and restaurants, and a short tram or bus ride from the city center. The flat itself is sparse but nice, in a very typical Edinburgh building, with good amenities.

everything was great, we were greeted with champagne and pastries, the downsides of the stay were that the windows were too thin and you could hear the noise of the road, and it was cold in the apartment, but when the heating was turned on, it became warm, it was clean and tidy... Only the water was turned off, we could not find the water switch for a long time. but we managed. The location is great!

Good location for Edinburgh, with a tram stop right outside (or a 20-25 minute walk to Waverley Station)

One of the main reasons we booked this flat was the free parking. We arrived by car late on Saturday evening and were shocked to find that all roads were permit-only, including weekends. I tried texting the number in my confirmation email with no response. Found another different mobile number and was told (with no apology) that there was parking about a mile away - or else on the edge of a park/common, with a similar length of walk back with our suitcases. No thanks!

Great location, 25min walk from the centre. The tram line is just outside the door. Cosy, nice apartment with everything you need for your stay.

Even it was very convenient that the tram line was just outside the door unfortunately it was quite loud in the morning when it started running again.

Overall we liked the apartment. It was quite clean, basically everything you needed in the kitchen and bathroom was there. We liked a big mirror in the bedroom. Thank you very muсh for opportunity to stay in your apartment!

Among the shortcomings in the apartment we can name the following: 1. The pipe in the bathroom was most likely clogged because when we bathed a lot of water filled the pan and it very slowly drained out. 2. The towel dryer in the bathroom did not work, making it difficult to dry clothes and towels. 3. Next to the front door, on the floor, there is a hole where things fall very easily and are impossible to get out.

There's no longer free parking. I called the host when I arrived, and I was told they didn't have time to update the listing, even though their listing very clearly says "free parking". Stayed for 2 nights, and I wouldn't stay any longer. The flat is your typical Edinburgh old apartment, a bit rough on the edges. The bed was not that comfy, and the furniture didn't feel very clean. The staircase to the flat is very dark, even with the light on.
