Tamara's hospitality, Breakfast is fantastic., room, bed, bathroom,shower & facilities were perfect, parking is excellent, very relaxed atmosphere, location is amazing under 5 min walk from front door to the sea front & bar restaurants on the shore, less than 5 min walk to the main road where you can catch the bus. which is a brilliant service .

Everything! Lovely B & B in a great location. Comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast and Tamara, our host was an absolutely lovely lady who couldn't do enough for us.

Location in very nice calm part of the island. Very close to the beach. Tamara was perfect host, she gave us many recomendations where to go and what to see. Breakfast was perfect. The room was large, clean and bathroom was in high standard. Big parking place in front of the house. The terase available for guest.

Great location on a quiet beach road but close to a useful bus route. We had a very enjoyable stay and felt we were very well looked after by our host. Really enjoyed the range on offer for breakfast which was innovative and a very pleasant change from the conventional offer. Bed was super comfortable and bathroom facilities very good. In fact all the facilities were great with the added benefit of a secluded garden area to spend some down time after a busy day of visits around the island. Lots of useful information from our host about things to do and places to go which we might have missed without the benefit of local knowledge.

I recently spent a solo weekend at Little Bassett Bed and Breakfast on the Isle of Wight, and it was honestly such a great experience. The location is perfect—only a 5-minute walk to Colwell Beach, so I could easily head to the coastal walk both days. The beach itself is gorgeous, and the whole area is super relaxing. I stayed in a single room, and it was really clean and cozy. The attached bathroom was spotless too, which is always a big plus. Plus, there was complimentary tea, which was a nice touch after a long day of exploring. Tamara, the host, was amazing. She had a huge variety of breakfast options, and even made sure to accommodate my vegetarian diet with cool touches like original German wine jam on toast (which was delicious, by the way). Unfortunately, I got sick while I was there, but Tamara was super helpful. She guided me on where to get medical help and really took care of me. I honestly felt so supported during that time. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Little Bassett to anyone heading to the island’s west coast. The location, the room, and Tamara’s hospitality made it a fantastic stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Nothing that I didn’t like!

We struck gold 🙌 Located at the end of a long, leafy lane of well kept homes, was the most delightful, immaculate B&B. The dining room had patio doors leading out to decking, two loungers and an invitation to use this space should we wish. Our room was well furnished and bed very comfortable . Our host suggested a walk to eateries by the sea.We were rewarded by a delightful moments walk to stunning sea views and a promenade taking us to the most unexpected culinary delights of “ The Hutt” . Fresh fish eaten while transfixed by a glorious sunset and waves lapping moments from our table. ‘The Hutt’ drove us back to “ Little Bassett” B&B where we enjoyed a great nights sleep and delightful breakfast. Everything provided from freshly prepared fruit , yogurts to eggs bacon . An extensive list to choose from. We shall be back for a more extended stay next time. It is immaculate and Tamara is the right balance of pleasant and professional. You’re in safe hands . Kind regards Catherine and Robert Temple

A lovely modern property situated in a quiet but convenient location very close to the coast. Ideal for walking or sightseeing from with a bus stop in easy walking distance. The host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was delightful and thoughtfully done. I would recommend a stay at this B&B to anyone and would love to return at some point.
