Location, availability of parking, Geraldine was very helpful before and during the stay!

No hand soap in the bathroom

It was exactly what we needed.

Some hand soap would have been helpful. I got really hot in the night so maybe a sheet?

It was close to Hay-on-Wye & centrally located in Glasbury. Beautiful setting on the river with pub & garage/grocery store nearby. Facilities were great & it was nice to have a mini fridge in the room.

Prachtige locatie, hele fijne badkamer met douchecabine, het bed sliep heerlijk, fijne stoel in de kamer en de eigenaresse is heel aardig en meedenkend!

Geen tegenvallers, enkel een hele positieve indruk!

I liked everything

The apartment was close enough to all the main attractions in Glasbury for us to leave the car in the adjoining car park and visit everywhere on foot. The view of the river from the window was beautiful, even in the rain! The shower was very powerful and hot. Unfortunately, we arrived too late in the season to enjoy the wonderful food in the restaurant downstairs as it had closed for the winter season. We know from previous experience how fantastic the food is there so we hope to visit again next year when we can experience more of their wares.

The road noise was rather obtrusive, although with the windows closed, it was just about bearable. It also quietened down considerably at night. Also, the room (Otter) with the 2 single beds was very small and only had one chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed, which although was wonderfully comfortable to sleep in, without a back to lean against whilst having a cup of tea it wasn't really comfortable to sit on. Neither of these small "niggles" would stop us from booking this apartment again though.
