Pen Y Bont Cottage Llanuwchllyn Bala

The Cottage was beautiful, and suited our needs perfectly. The beds were so dreamy, we didn’t want to get out of them!! The Prosecco left by the hosts was very welcoming after our long drive. Would definitely recommend.

Our experience here was great! The hosts were amazing in every way. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I feel like the house was set up to make things easy and it made traveling with kids so much easier.

We have all had a wonderful weekend. The cottage was amazing, very clean and well-equipped for everything. Location is great and parking is easy. I highly recommend Pen-Y-cottage. The hosts are very quick and responsive to anything.

Nothing it was perfect

As we entered the property we were greeted with some flowers, a cake and a bottle of Prosecco. We were provided with a guidebook with information on how to use the facilities and rules (though there were not many!). Each bed had a hot water bottle on which was very kind! They provide all tools needed to ignite the log burner (firefighters, logs & matches). We didn’t even need to bring any board/family games as they have so much choice there! The host was lovely to speak with and returned the deposit same day. Everything was clean and tidy, it felt so homely and cosy. We will definitely be returning!

A beautiful, well furnished and clean cottage in a lovely location. Parking was ideal and easy, and the hosts were very responsive when any queries were made.

This property is absolutely beautiful, the interior and exterior presentation is gorgeous and provides everything that anyone could ever need. The personal touches of the Prosecco, cake and fresh flowers were greatly appreciated. It has been the best accommodation that we have stayed in throughout two European trips. Thank you also for the comprehensive instructions and suggestions for restaurants and activities, both via message and in the booklet. We enjoyed both meals at the local hotel and also the George 111. We spent our two days exploring the local area and the greater Snowdonia. We loved Betws-y-coed and Beddgelert. 😀 This accommodation was great value for money. We absolutely loved our stay, the house was so comfortably, clean, homely and beautiful. Thank you once again. Absolutely nothing, it was brilliant and had everything you could possibly need and was immaculate.

beautiful cottage very clean and it was lovely to come in to fresh flowers and a bottle of prosecco. the cottage had everything we needed, lovely comfortable beds hot water wifi and cable tv, loads of parking which was great. the location was a nice, quite village we visited the local pub which is a 10 min walk from the cottage, which was very good, had nice food and very friendly staff.

the weekend we went away it was exceptionally cold weather, and the cottage was freezing when we got there, we would have hoped the heating would have been on low, so unfortunately, it took all day and into the evening. we realised, some of the radiators were not working, which did not help with trying to get the temperature to a pleasant heat, I did message the owner, who responded immediately and did try to get a plumber out. and gave us some suggestion's to help the situation. there was a wood burner and logs and coal provided, which helped, and by the second day it was much cosier, the upstairs was very warm and the bedroom toasty, it was just the downstairs that took a while to warm up due to some of the radiators not working, but hopefully the plumber will get this sorted for further visits in cold weather.

Very comfortable and spacious cottage. Ideal for us visiting relatives and entertaining our grandkids. Very cosy cottage.

The cottage is very beautiful with original features and quality furnishings . Lovely complementary toiletries, we arrived to a bottle of Prosecco and Welsh cakes ❤️Stunning peaceful location over looking a stone bridge with a river running under next to a field of sheep and mountains behind ! There are mountains in all directions so amazing views wherever you turn , it’s truly Picture postcard perfect . It’s a short walk into the village to the local pub and shop and also the steam railway station that takes you on a trip around the lake . Will definitely be back .
