Breakfast - parking.

Sink didn't drain prooperly. Shower needs servicing and needs a hand rail as it is a very high step with a very narrow access. Dinner was served on a cold plate and was not very enjoyable.

"A niche place to stay. GVM with attentive staff"

Room was very clean, tidy and offered plenty of quality facilities to enhance your stay. In respect to tea/coffee/chocolate drinks etc. it would’ve been nice to include bottles of water per day. Especially with the mains water being quite hard in minerals.

My only comment is that the restaurant needs some investment. It’s looking very very tired and the carpet to the dining restaurant is almost threadbare. Which is a shame as all the staff were excellent and the quality of food was equally excellent.

Clean & local to the pub

No Downstairs rooms for my Disabled partner so was hard work getting Her up the stairs!

Hotel staff very helpful with disabled access and responsive to messages. Good food options for vegetarians and for dairy free diet. Nice decor. Room was comfortable, spacious bathroom. Lots of parking. Nice country walk to Thundridge Old Church nearby.

Floor above room 9 on ground floor was very creaky and got woken up by people walking around. Would recommend staying on upstairs floor instead.
